To improve the health of our underground utilities and address improvements to the intersection, Alterra Construction (on behalf of the District of Oak Bay) will be conducting work around the intersection of Cadboro Bay Road at Thompson Avenue. This work will include:

• Replacement of approximately 270m of watermain
• Intersection improvements for Cadboro Bay Road at Thompson Ave

The anticipated timeline for construction is August 2024 to Fall 2024.

Traffic Impacts

• During regular hours of construction (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), community members can expect noise and road closures or detours.
• Local access will be maintained throughout the project.
• Specific dates and impacts to traffic will be provided when details are made
