Fees collected through Oak Bay utilities support operating costs and infrastructure replacement in the District of Oak Bay. You can expect a utility bill every four months, which is based off meter readings.

Paying Oak Bay Utilities

Bills are based on meter readings and you will receive one every four months. Ways to pay your utility bill include:

Check with your financial institution for further details. Please note that credit cards are not accepted.

Online banking

To pay online through your bank, ensure you have online banking set up and add the District of Oak Bay as a payee. Please note the following payee titles for each financial institution:

Pre-authorized direct debit

Utility bills may also be paid through pre-authorized direct debit. To set this up, review and complete the form below. Residents can drop off the completed form at Oak Bay Municipal Hall (2167 Oak Bay Ave.). A void cheque or direct deposit form is required.
