The District of Oak Bay is working on a Secondary Suites Study as part of a broader housing framework. It is intended to review the options for secondary suites as one form of housing within the community, while achieving the goals and objectives of the Official Community Plan. The Study will look at policies and regulations that could be put in place to allow secondary suites, for example, floor area, parking, occupancy, inspection and licensing. Let’s Talk Housing.
