Welcome to Monterey Recreation Centre!
The Centre offers a wide range of activities for adults of all ages to stay active, learn, socialize, and engage with the community. With various multi-purpose rooms supporting fitness, social and leisure activities, you can participate in programs such as card games, arts and crafts classes, adult learning courses, exercise sessions, health and wellness workshops, and club activities. Don’t forget to visit the Fern Café for some delicious freshly baked goods or lunch

The Fern Café is located within Monterey Recreation Centre. It has a beautiful garden indoor seating area, with a large skylight to bring in the natural light, fueling a relaxed atmosphere for conversation during lunch or a mid-morning treat with your friends. The Fern Café offers fresh homemade salads, sandwiches, and baked goods made by our in-house baker and our chef, plus coffee and other beverages.
Parking
Convenient parking options are available at our facility on Monterey Avenue and Hampshire Road. Parking in the upper and small lots is limited to 2 hours. For extended parking needs, parking decals can be purchased at Monterey Reception.
