Windsor Pavilion

Welcome to the Windsor Pavilion

Windsor Pavilion, a rebuilt legacy from Oak Bay’s Centennial in 2006, features a children’s program room, main hall, and multi-purpose rooms. The facility is available for community rentals and private functions. Surrounding the pavilion is an active multi-sport and recreational park, offering a range of sports activities for both children and adults. The park includes well-maintained fields, amenities, picnic areas, a playground, and the Rose and Scented Gardens. Note: Dogs are not allowed in the Rose Garden, children’s play area, or in the Windsor Pavilion.

Meeting Rooms

Discover our versatile and spacious rooms on the second floor of the Windsor Pavilion. These rooms can be divided into four meeting spaces using movable walls or used as two larger areas. Ideal for community sport functions, meetings, private events, and more. Rent them today!

Rotary Hall

The Rotary Hall, located on the main floor of the Windsor Pavilion, is ideal for meetings and gatherings like potlucks. This versatile space accommodates up to 50 people with theater-style seating, which can be expanded to 60 with a table setup. It can also be paired with a field rental for added flexibility.

Sports Fields

Explore a variety of sports fields and courts for baseball, basketball, cricket, rugby, and soccer. Field use is organized through a permit system. For more information, visit the Park & Field Bookings page. Non-organized use is allowed when not in use by permit holders or for maintenance.

Pools

Oak Bay Recreation Centre features two swimming pools: the main pool and the small pool, along with a hot tub, sauna, and steam room. The main pool is an eight-lane, 25-metre pool maintained at 28.3°C/83°F, offering amenities such as waterslides, a basketball hoop, a climbing wall, and a rope swing. The small pool is maintained at 34.4°C/94°F, designed for leisure and relaxation, and includes water features and a children’s slide. Both pools utilize UV disinfection systems. Additionally, there is a hot tub maintained at 40°C/104°F accessible during public swimming hours, and the sauna and steam room are available daily.

Tennis Courts (Outdoor)

Explore our three hard-court outdoor tennis courts situated on the grounds of the Windsor Pavilion. The courts are located beside the playground area adjacent to Windsor Pavilion. The courts are on a first-come, first-served basis and players must abide by the rules of play. Learn more on our Book a Court page.
