Description:
This garden is a small natural area (.21 hectares) in a residential neighborhood featuring several species of mature trees and native shrubs and plants indigenous to Oak Bay including a rare and vulnerable species of plant. A short loop trail circles two re-circulating ponds built in the natural rock formation.
The Native Plant Garden is a peaceful enclave along the municipality’s scenic Beach Drive, providing citizens an opportunity to view indigenous plants.
