Henderson Recreation Centre Parties
Henderson Gym & Bouncy Castle Party (1-8 YRS)
Rent the Henderson Gymnasium for an hour of birthday fun, followed by an hour in the party room. There are a variety of options, including basketball, soccer, preschool ride ’em cars and floor hockey. The booking adult must be always present at the party. Maximum of 20 children and up to 20 adults.
Cost: $263.00 plus tax
Available Times:
- Saturdays: 12:15 to 2:15 p.m., 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 2:45 to 4:45 p.m.
- Sundays: 1:30 to 3:30pm and 2:45 to 4:45 p.m.

Henderson Preschool Planned Birthday Parties
Features 45 minutes of activities and 45 minutes for cake, food gifts, etc. Maximum of 15 children and up to 25 adults. The booking adult must always be present
Cost: $145.00 plus tax

- Sundays: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Henderson Parties FAQ
Is there music?
There is a stereo with an auxiliary cord and Bluetooth to hook up whatever device you choose. (We do not provide music.)
Can I bring food or beverages?
Patrons may bring only water bottles into the Henderson gymnasium. Food and beverages can be served in the party room.
Can we have entertainment?
Outside entertainment requires programmer approval.
Where do I enter?
Party guests will enter directly through the gym doors when the party begins. A booking adult can check in with reception 10 minutes before the party begins.
Youth Centre Parties
Henderson Gym & Bouncy Castle Party (1-8 YRS)
The Youth Centre at the Neighbourhood Learning Centre offers parties for children aged 8 and above. Each party includes two hours of activities such as billiards, foosball, and table tennis at the centre, supervised by one staff member. The booking adult must be present throughout the party. Access to the kitchen with facilities like stove, oven, sink, fridge, and freezer is provided; however, guests need to bring their own food and supplies. The staff member will help with clean-up, and guests are responsible for taking their belongings with them. Early access to set-up the party room is not available. Maximum capacity is 20 youth.
Cost: $145.00 plus tax
Available Times:
- Fridays: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturdays/Sundays: 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Amenities at the Youth Centre:
- Billiards table, foosball table, and a table tennis table.
- 70-inch Smart TV with surround sound and Netflix. The sound system has an auxiliary cord. You can play your own music if you bring your own device.
- Kitchen: fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and stove. (The stove is available to warm up items but is not for cooking.)
- Computer stations are open for use. Password – Play Nice! (Space between words).
- Bring your own gaming systems (Xbox, PlayStation) to connect to the TV. An HDMI cord is available.
- You must bring all your own food and any additional supplies (e.g. napkins, candles, etc.).

Youth Parties FAQ
What is the required cancellation notice period?
Cancellations or changes to the original booking must be made by 12:00pm the Saturday two weeks prior to your rental; otherwise, the full rental charges apply.
Is there music?
There is a stereo with an auxiliary cord to hook up whatever device you choose. We do not provide music.
Can I bring food or beverages?
Yes. Please bring your own food, drinks, paper plates and cutlery, candles and matches, knife, and napkins. Staff will assist in clean up.
Please note that you will need to take away all leftover food and garbage/recyclables.
Can I have early access to set up for the party?
No, there will not be early access to the room, as there will be activities running prior to the party times.
Can we have 20 people plus the host/booker?
Yes. It is a maximum of 20 youth plus the host/booker. The booking adult must be present at all times.
Can we have entertainment?
No outside entertainment or outside contractor/facilitator is allowed for the rental.
Where do I enter?
Partygoers will enter directly through the exterior doors to the Youth Centre located in the Neighbourhood Learning Centre. The party staff will be there to meet you 10 minutes before the start of your party.
