First Aid Courses
Get certified for work, learn the prerequisite first aid for lifeguarding, or be ready to help your family and friends with a Canadian Red Cross first aid course. Choose from CPR C and AED (Automated External Defibrillator), the Occupational First Aid 1 equivalent, Emergency First Aid, or the two-day Standard First Aid. All certifications are valid for three years. Must bring a current certification to recertification. We run Canadian Red Cross and Canadian Lifesaving Society first aid courses. This course teaches the current CPR C, AED, and choking procedures for adults, children, and infants. CPR C is required for lifeguards, medical personnel, and paramedics, but is ideal for anyone to have. Four-hour recertification available.
This one-day, Occupational First Aid (OFA 1) equivalent course, teaches basic and necessary first aid practices. You will learn the current CPR C, AED, and choking practices for adults, children, and infants as well as how to deal with several medical emergency and injury situations. No recertification available, must take the 8 hour course again to recertify.
Our most comprehensive first aid course, this 16-hour, OFA-1 equivalent course will set you up for success in emergencies, for future employment, or on your path to becoming a lifeguard. This course offers a broad foundation of first-aid training, including CPR C and AED training, procedures for choking, medical emergencies, bleeding, shock, broken bones and dislocations, and more. One-day recertification available.
