Located in the southwest corner of the Oak Bay High School, the Neighbourhood Learning Centre offers programs and drop-ins for all ages, with the primary focus of the centre being childcare and children’s programs. Paddington Station Day Care, before and after school care, children’s programs, camps, and adult fitness programs use the various rooms at the Centre.
Parking is available in the Oak Bay Recreation Centre parking lot or at the end of Goldsmith Street beside the Tennis Bubble, or in the back parking lot of the Oak Bay High School off Cranmore Street. For parking at the Neighbourhood Learning Centre, please download the map.
Local artists are showcased in the hallway of the Neigbourhood Learning Centre and you are invited to drop by and view the changing displays regularly. The Arts and Culture Programmer’s office is located here at the centre as well.
The Neighbourhood Learning Centre is also home to the Youth Centre, where pre-teens and teens aged 11-18 years are invited to drop in at scheduled times during lunch and after school to hang out with their friends in a safe environment.
Special events and community rentals may take place in the rooms when available. The Youth Centre is a popular place for birthday parties. Please see the Birthday Parties page for specific information.

Staff
Licensed before and after school care is offered for up to 120 children who are attending Willows School, and is located in five purpose-built, licensed activity rooms at the Neighbourhood Learning Centre. Children are safely transported to and from school.

A licensed daycare, Paddington Station operates year round and provides care for a maximum of 25 children aged three years to school age.
Paddington’s operates Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:30pm.

The 1300 square-foot Youth Centre Room comes with its own kitchen, washrooms, a state-of-the-art television, surround sound and computers, as well as a foosball table, pool table and table tennis. The Youth Centre is closed for drop-ins in July and August, reopening at the start of each school year. For specific drop-in and program information, visit the Youth Programs page.
Located beside the Goldsmith Avenue parking lot (and behind the tennis bubble), the skateboard area is open dawn to dusk. This is a small skateboard park and may be appropriate for beginner to intermediate level skaters. The area is unsupervised, but is open for public use at your own risk.
