Oak Bay Garbage Collection Schedules

Find information on your next Oak Bay garbage collection and recycling pickup date.

Residential households that have garbage, kitchen waste/curbside organics and recyclables picked up by the Municipality must bring the totes and blue boxes to the curbside on collection day by 7:30 am. All residents receiving curbside service must have specially designed wheeled totes that are sold by Oak Bay Public Works.

What goes in each tote?

Green tote: Organic Waste
Blue tote: Mixed waste paper
Grey tote: Household garbage

Purchase Garbage Totes

Totes can be purchased by calling Public Works at 250-598-4501, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Green, Blue and Grey totes cost $95 (including tax) each.
