The November 2024 Friends of Uplands Park bird walk with Geoffrey Newell is coming up on Friday, November 29th. Friends of Uplands Park will meet in the main parking lot at Cattle Point at 9:00am. All of our wintering species have now returned and we can expect to see a nice selection of loons, grebes, seaducks, shorebirds, alcids, gulls, and cormorants at Cattle Point. Meanwhile, Uplands Park is a great place to find flocks of kinglets, chickadees, thrushes, finches, and sparrows at this time of year. We may even get lucky and find a Northern Saw-whet Owl or Snow Bunting!
