After 31 years with the municipality Parks and Recreation Director, Lorna Curtis will retire on November 25, 2011. Her successor is Ray Herman. Ray comes to Oak Bay from Mission, BC where he has been the Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture for the past five years. Ray has also been a Parks and Recreation Director in Powell River and for the City of Trail.
