On Monday February 4, 2013, the Oak Bay Municipal Council considered a recommendation from the Official Community Plan Project Advisory Committee (OPAC) to award the contract for a consultant to facilitate the development of a renewed Official Community Plan for the District of Oak Bay. As per OPAC's recommendation, Catherine Berris Associates Inc. was the chosen consultant.

Community input is a critical element of the OCP review process, and public engagement opporunities are expected to commence by the end of March.  Please continue to monitor the municipal website for further information and updates.  

Completion of the renewed Official Community Plan is anticipated by Spring 2014.
