District of Oak Bay Announces Chief Financial Officer

The District of Oak Bay’s Chief Administrative Officer Selina Williams is pleased to announce that Ms. Rianna Lachance will be joining the District of Oak Bay as the Director of Financial Services and Asset Management effective May 27, 2024.

With her expertise in fostering organization growth and strategy, as well as her extensive background in all financial services, she will be an invaluable member of the team.”

Ms. Lachance is a Chartered Professional Accounted (CPA) with over 15 years of management and local government experience in a variety of roles including Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Senior Manager, Financial Services with the Capital Regional District, and Manager of Financial Services for the City of Port Coquitlam. Ms. Lachance is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), is the Board President of the Government Finance Officers Association of BC and holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce.
