District of Oak Bay announces new Director of Engineering and Public Works

Oak Bay, B.C. – The District of Oak Bay is proud to announce Steve Rennick as the new Director of Engineering and Public Works. He started his new role on Monday, December 2.

“Mr. Rennick has worked tirelessly alongside our Director of Engineering, Ed Robertson, to grow the Engineering and Public Works department to meet the needs of our community,” said Selina Williams, CAO for the District of Oak Bay. “Steve’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and creativity will be invaluable in leading the team in the months and years to come.”

Steve Rennick previously served as Deputy Director of Engineering and Public Works, and prior to that as Manager of Engineering Services for Oak Bay. He brings over 15 years of experience in engineering.

“Leading this team is a great responsibility and one that I am excited to take on,” said Rennick. “I look forward to working with the talented people across the District to maintain and grow our infrastructure and services to serve the residents of Oak Bay.”

The District of Oak Bay is honoured to have had Mr. Robertson in this role bringing his expertise, leadership and mentorship to the Oak Bay staff team and community.
