Mayor Nils Jensen, on behalf of Oak Bay Municipal Council, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gary Nason as the interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the District of Oak Bay, following the departure of Mr. Mark Brennan.

With over 29 years in local government, Mr. Nason brings a breadth of experience with him, notes Mayor Jensen.  Most recently Mr. Nason served as the CAO for the District of Central Saanich, and he has also worked with the City of Nanaimo and the City of Port Alberni.

Mr. Nason will be joining the Municipality on March 11th as the interim CAO until a permanent appointment is made by Council.
