Please be advised that all District playgrounds are closed effective immediately. This has been implemented to support the directives issued by the Provincial Health Officer to:

• Maintain social distancing
• Wash hands frequently
• Stay home
• Avoid gatherings.

The District has taken this measure given that play structures are not sterile surfaces, nor suitable locations for social distancing.

Parks remain open, however users are advised to maintain the recommended social distancing.  Public washroom facilities continue to be accessible.  Members of the public are advised to take extra precautions if using these facilities.
