BOULEVARD PLANTINGS

Residents in the District of Oak Bay can elect to plant on the municipal boulevard, granted that they adhere to set of landscaping restrictions. These restrictions cover both the required distances of plantings, etc. as well as the required selection of plants from a preapproved list of permitted boulevard plantings.

Any requests or exceptions for plantings and/or landscaping that does not strictly adhere with the District of Oak Bay Boulevard Planting Guidelines must be approved in advance by the Engineering Department prior to commencment of alteration to the municipal boulevard.
